About the Role

We’re recruiting on behalf of a busy paint and bodyshop looking for an experienced MET fitter to join on a permanent basis. This role suits someone who has worked as a mechanical technician, strip and fit technician, bodyshop technician, or in similar automotive repair environments.

What You’ll Do
  • Strip and refit mechanical and electrical components on a range of vehicles
  • Carry out diagnostic checks and identify required repairs
  • Work alongside panel beaters, paint technicians and workshop staff
  • Ensure all work meets safety and industry standards
  • Maintain a tidy, organised work area
  • Support the overall workflow in the bodyshop to meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in MET fitting or similar roles such as vehicle technician or accident repair technician
  • Your own full set of tools
  • Confident working independently and as part of a small team
  • Good attention to detail and a professional approach
  • Experience in a bodyshop, accident repair centre or automotive workshop
