A mental health services provider in Oxford is seeking a part-time Mental Health Support Worker to provide support to clients with serious mental illnesses. Candidates should have GCSEs in English and Maths, be able to offer emotional support, and have a genuine interest in mental health. Mental Health Support Worker - £23,271 - £25,158 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)
Hours - Part-Time 34 hours per week, Monday - Sunday, inclusive of bank holidays, shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Service - Iris Hayter House, Littlemore, Oxford
Response are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their dedicated team at Iris Hayter House. The Iris Hayter House team is a Care Quality Commission registered care home. The team provide personal care 24/7 for older adults who are diagnosed with enduring mental health and physical health needs.
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to residents with serious mental illness including adults who have a primary diagnosis of a psychotic illness often with one or more coexisting conditions such physical health issues, neurodiversity, drugs & alcohol use and cognitive impairment.
