Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are recruiting a Mental Health Support Worker to join a specialist SEMH school in Preston, supporting students to overcome barriers and succeed both emotionally and academically.

The Role
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Use trauma-informed and nurturing approaches to support emotional regulation
  • Act as a positive role model and trusted adult
  • Support students to re-engage with learning and school life
  • Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the SENCO
  • Help maintain a calm, safe and structured learning environment
