A local community youth support organization in Newry is seeking a dedicated individual to assist and support young people aged 12 to 18 in a café-style environment. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one support, participating in group work, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. THE EMPLOYER IS: CRISIS CAFE
To support young people aged 12 to 18 years in a café‑style setting, registering and settling new participants into the social café. Acting as a key worker for young people by providing one‑to‑one support when required, participating in group work activities and assisting the lead mental health facilitator. Attending training and team meetings, and contributing to fundraising activities.
The Employer is: CRISIS CAFE. JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information. Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
