Job summary

A healthcare recruitment firm is seeking compassionate and proactive Support Workers to join their growing team in Guildford, UK. We are looking for Support Workers with minimum of 6 months experience working with adults or adolescents with the following :

Duties and responsibilities
  • Responding to psychological or emotional crisis in adults and adolescents, utilising de-escalation techniques and intervention strategies.
  • Providing in-person crisis support in various settings, including homes, schools, hospitals, or community centres, fostering placements and unregulated settings.
  • Establishing rapport and trust with clients and their families to assess risk, stabilise crisis situations, and ensure immediate safety and emotional support.
  • Collaborating with clinical leads and multidisciplinary teams to ensure intervention plans are appropriate, with timely documentation and escalation of any changes in client condition or behaviour.
  • Working with professionals such as schools, young offending and psychotherapy.
