A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the Community Mental Health Services for Older People in Newtownards. The role involves providing skilled assessments and evidence-based interventions for older adults with mental health issues. Candidates must have two years of post-qualifying experience in Adult Mental Health and a valid UK driving licence. This position promotes effective teamwork and patient safety, aligning with the organization's objectives.
The post holder will work within the Community Mental Health Services for Older People (CMHSOP) multi-disciplinary team, providing skilled assessments and evidence based interventions in a community setting to older people with mental health problems, and/or their carers. The post holder will contribute to the establishment of systems and processes to ensure effective communication and continuity of client care, liaising with multi-disciplinary / multi-agency teams and community services. They will ensure Safety, Quality and patient experience is central to the ethos of their practice and to that of the team and mirrors the Trusts corporate objectives. The post holder will promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency. The post holder will ensure that they take all concerns raised with them seriously and act in accordance with the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust’s Raising Concerns Policy and their professional code of conduct, where applicable.
