A fantastic specialist school in Thatcham are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant to support their students with behaviour and mental health issues. The school caters for students with a diagnosed social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) need, as well as Autism and ADHD.

As a Mental Health Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring every student feels safe and supported at school. Many of these students find it difficult to manage their emotions and to form healthy relationships with others. You will serve as a positive role model for all pupils, supporting their development of social skills, emotional regulation and academic success. You will also help assist the class teacher, to ensure all lessons run smoothly.
