Overview

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust offers a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people in community and secure environment settings. Responsibilities
  • Open the shop at prescribed times and display goods in display units, observing sell-by dates and rotating stock.
  • Monitor and record the temperature of refrigerated storage units (target ranges include +1°C/+8°C; best around +4°C).
  • Use the cash register and complete daily sales returns.
  • Maintain a friendly and amicable manner with customers and staff.
  • On-the-job training in the use of the till, sales returns and refrigerator temperature reading; follow personal hygiene requirements.
  • On-the-job training and awareness of the fire alarm and when to leave the building.
  • Volunteer workers must be trustworthy.
