Job summary

A leading contracting company in the UK is seeking experienced MEICA Project Engineers for a temp to perm position. The successful candidate will deliver design and engineering solutions for waste-water facility upgrades between £20M and £50M. Key responsibilities include engineering calculations, supervising plant layout, and assisting during construction. Candidates should have mechanical design engineering experience within the water industry and expertise in process plant design/specification.

Qualifications

  • Experience in mechanical design engineering specific to the Water Industry.
  • Expertise in designing and specifying process plant and piping.
  • Background in contracting industries or process plant operations is beneficial.

MEICA Project Engineers

Temp to Perm

We are working with a leading main contracting company that have been awarded a new waste‑water facility upgrade projects in the Thames and Southern Water Regions. Build value between £20M and £50M. We are recruiting for experienced MEICA Project Engineers to join on a temp to perm basis as part of the design services team.

MEICA Project Engineer Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, engineering, calculations, specifications
  • Assist with preparation of flowsheets and engineering line diagrams
  • Supervise plant layout and pipework design including 3D modelling
  • Generate and supervise preparation of data sheets, piping and equipment specifications, technical appraisals and selection.
  • Site support during construction and commissioning including field engineering assignments
What do we need from the successful Project Engineer?
  • Experience of mechanical design engineering in process related industries in particular the Water Industry; Sewage Works and Water works.
  • Specific expertise in the design, layout, engineering and specification of process plant and piping for the Water industry
  • Experience within the contracting industries and / or a process plant operator would be beneficial
