A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Medicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician to join our Brent Pharmacy team at Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust based in Park Royal.

The post offers an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical and professional knowledge and skills in both physical and mental healthcare services, working in both inpatient and community mental health team settings. You will need to demonstrate a person-centred approach and have effective interpersonal and organisational skills. Previous NHS Hospital pharmacy experience, including mental health, would be desirable. You will also be expected to participate in the weekend and bank holiday rota, following a period of induction and training.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medicines technical support for mental health services to sites including in-patients, home treatment teams and community mental health teams.
  • Support the Brent Pharmacy team in developing and delivering medicines optimisation within physical and mental health care settings.
  • Participate in on-call, weekend and bank holiday rotas as required, following a period of induction and training.
