We are seeking a proactive Pharmacy Technician to join our team, supporting ward-based clinical pharmacy services for patients in the Trauma, Orthopaedics and Rheumatology directorate. In this role, you will collaborate with skilled Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to optimise medicines for rheumatology and orthopaedic patients at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. You will assist the rheumatology team with homecare supply and medicines management on the day unit, undertake medicines reconciliation, support ward-based dispensing, and promote safe and effective medication use at ward level. A solid grasp of medicines management and a flexible approach are essential. This post suits registered Pharmacy Technicians accredited in medicines management who wish to develop their clinical skills, or newly qualified Pharmacy Technicians looking to begin their ward-based career.
