Overview

Join the Specialist Pharmacy Service (SPS) Medicines Advice team based in London to help deliver expert, evidence‑based advice on the safe and effective use of medicines across England. Our national service supports healthcare professionals and policy makers to optimise medicines use and improve patient safety.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical medicines advice to healthcare professionals in primary and community care.
  • Research, critically appraise evidence, and deliver clear, timely responses.
  • Contribute to national resources and support medicines optimisation initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across England and support service development.
Qualifications
  • GPhC-registered pharmacist with strong clinical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to appraise evidence and produce high‑quality written advice.
  • IT literacy and willingness to learn digital tools.
