An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced secretary or administrator to join the team as a Medical Secretary.
Based within the Centre for Women's Health on the main Royal Devon and Exeter Wonford site, the post holder will join an established team to provide comprehensive administration support for our patients and clinical team of Consultant Gynaecologist/Obstetricians.
The post holder will have a range of administrative experience, ideally in a secretarial role or within a Healthcare environment; however, we welcome applicants from other sectors who feel they have relevant transferable skills.
Working in a busy and sometimes demanding job, within a supportive team, they must be a good team player and enjoy working within a Mult디오isciplinary team. We are looking for someone who is articulate, has excellent communicationRID and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise competing workstreams. Strong organisational skills and IT skills as well as the ability to manage your own caseload without direct supervision is a must.
As the post deals with patients, relatives, and Healthcare professionals, applicants must have excellent communication skills and will be expected to have an empathetic and efficient telephone manner.
