A growing healthcare practice in Oxford seeks a Medical Secretary to support daily operations and manage patient referrals. The ideal candidate will have GCSEs in English and Maths, plus experience in a healthcare setting. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for processing tasks efficiently. This is an exciting role where no two days are the same, and would suit a quick learner who can manage their own time well. This role would primarily be processing patient requests and sending referrals onwards.
Working across multiple teams, the ideal candidate would be flexible and well organised in order to ensure they are prioritising the most urgent items and following up on tasks.
This role is based in Beaumont Street. Although occasional work may be required at Elms Road, your main site would be Beaumont Street.
Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship and you will need to have pre-existing Right to Work in the UK with an end date of no less than 3 years.
The main duties will be to process incoming tasks and emails from GPs, patients, and 3rd parties and to ensure tasks are completed promptly in the correct timeframe.
The Beaumont Elms Practice is looking for a Medical Secretary to provide support in running the surgery day-to-day. As anever-growing practice with around 26,000 patients, we need an extra pair ofhands to manage the workload that comes with this! Our friendly team is made upof around 70 people, some of which have worked for 19BS for 30 years!
