Overview

University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship this role. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role however it is important to note that UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa, you must also have at least six months until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.

Responsibilities
  • We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, to work as a part of our Medical secretary team within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department located at County. The post holder is required to provide comprehensive secretarial support, waiting list management and administrative support to medical and nursing staff within a specialty team.
  • You will be required to work as part of a team, as well as being able to use your own initiative and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. We are looking for someone who is flexible with their working hours.
  • Candidates should posses a professional attitude to their work and have the ability to work flexibly in an extremely busy environment. You will possess experience of working as a medical secretary demonstrating accuracy and excellent multi-tasking capabilities in all aspects of the workload. You will be required to work as part of a team as well as being able to use your initiative and prioritise your own workload to meet strict deadlines.
  • You will be responsible for the management of your own workload, working closely with other Medical Secretaries, Consultants and the Management Team.
