Job summary

A healthcare facility in Limavady is seeking a team member to ensure the smooth running of surgeries and clinics. You will maintain confidentiality, manage patient appointments, and assist in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have 5 GCSEs including English and Maths and at least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare. This position offers a salary of £23,492.04 per annum for a commitment of 4 hours a day over 2 days.

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Job description

Ensure smooth running of surgeries/clinics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality.
• Following all procedures as laid out in the practice Procedures File.
• Receives/directs patients appropriately during surgery.
• Answer the telephone(s) promptly.
• Send and receive emails.
• Operate computerized appointment system as directed.
• Prepare prescriptions for GP.
• Make appointments or follow up re-appointments with various hospitals, clinics, etc. for patients.
• Order ambulance for patients to attend hospital appts where necessary.
• Filing of patient records.
• Giving blood results including INR to patient.
• Scanning letters into patient computerized files accurately.
• Adding relevant data re patients on to computer.
• Open and prepare the premises punctually in the morning.
• Lock up and secure the premises at night.
• Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including English & Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
• 2 years customer service experience.
• Previous experience in Healthcare

Further Information

Salary: £23,492.04 per annum, pro rata. Position will be 4 hours a day over 2 days.
