Overview

We’ve launched a new in‑house service across 22 centres nationwide, and we’re building a service that truly supports the health, safety and wellbeing of our 46,000 colleagues. As a Medical Co‑ordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for colleagues arriving at the clinic. You’ll manage a busy diary, handle a large number of calls and emails, and help keep the centre running smoothly each day. You’ll be part of a network of 22 Medical Co‑ordinators across the country, supported by a wider team and contractors. This role is fully on‑site, because of the face‑to‑face nature of the work, we’re not able to offer flexible or hybrid working.

Responsibilities

What does the average day look like? Your day will be varied, busy and very people focused. You’ll be:

  • Handling a high volume of phone calls and emails and dealing with multiple queries at once
  • Booking and managing appointments for clinical colleagues
  • Welcoming colleagues to the clinic and supporting them with paperwork
  • Keeping the clinic stocked, organised and ready for appointments
  • Acting as a chaperone when needed
  • Updating and maintaining records, scanning documents and tracking medical evidence requests
  • Helping with occasional difficult or frustrated visitors, using empathy and good conflict‑resolution skills
  • Working with the lead Medical Co‑ordinator and wider OH team to keep everything running smoothly
