A large healthcare provider in Southend-on-Sea seeks a Medical Administrator to support the PSFU oncology team. You will provide effective administrative services, assist with patient interactions, and work with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates should have an educational background to GCSE level in English, experience in healthcare settings, and strong communication skills. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our wonderful Cancer Team.

You will provide an effective, administrative service, supporting the Personalised Stratified Follow Service for oncology and the Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) team across MSE hospitals.
You will be mainly based at Southend and will be required to communicate effectively across the sites via remote access. You will support the multi‑disciplinary team members; liaise with departments across the Trust, general practitioners, patients, relatives and visitors.
THIS IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT FOR 12 MONTHS UNTIL 31ST DECEMBER 2026
To provide support for the multi‑disciplinary team members; to liaise with departments across the Trust, general practitioners, patients, relatives and visitors in relation to PSFU. To work with the digital IT platform that supports PSFU.
All administrative staff work as part of a team supporting the nursing and management teams in the directorate. During annual leave and sickness of other members of the team, it will be necessary for the work to be re‑distributed to ensure that the service continues to operate safely and efficiently.
It may be necessary for you to carry out the duties of other staff within the wider team.
