The role

As a Mechanical Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Planning and leading maintenance programming.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • The Identification and rectification of all Chalfont system defects and alterations to ensure the continued availability and performance of the system.
  • Ensure procedure intent, standards and specifications are met whilst progressing work.
  • Ensure correct Quality Documentation is reviewed and called for at commencement and throughout each project activity
  • Deputise for the Chalfont Senior Specialists as required.

This role is full time and based onsite at Faslane.

Essential experience
  • Shipbuilding, construction, oil & gas, aviation, manufacturing backgrounds.
Qualifications
  • SVQ 3 mechanical apprenticeship or HNC

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
