A leading Facilities Management firm in Shoreditch is seeking a Mechanical Shift Engineer to support engineering excellence across various services. The role involves working on building systems, issuing permits, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Mechanical Shift Engineer — Location: Shoreditch. The Mechanical Engineer role is to support the shift lead, Assistant Engineering manager by being the dedicated mechanical engineer for the building and an integral member of the team delivering engineering excellence across the full spectrum of services, as well as assisting the wider team and client with tasks outside of the Mechanical expertise but within capabilities when required.
The job is 48 hours per week, site is manned 24/7 which is split into 2 days, 2 nights / 4 off shift days. There will also be a need for out of hours works to complete statutory maintenance tasks and to provide permitting and escorting cover for the client’s service providers. The Engineer will also need to be on call for out of hours attendance in the event of emergency.
