Job description

One of our Clients are actively looking for an up-and-coming Project Engineer having good training in the industry of air conditioning and some experience to run projects.

Responsibilities

• Day to day running of projects
• Estimating project from drawings
• Take off materials/plant and place orders
• Attending site meetings and carrying out site surveys
• Coordination between other contractors
• Take instructions from clients, make necessary changes
• Cost variations
• Produce final account
• Compile Operating & Maintenance manual
• Safety and Quality control of the project
• Understand how air conditioning systems work
• Some design knowledge will be useful — pipe sizing and duct sizing
• Use computer software: Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
• AutoCAD is not essential but an advantage for small changes

Qualifications / Skills

• Experience in air conditioning projects and ability to run projects
• Ability to read drawings and perform estimating and take-offs
• Strong coordination and communication with clients and contractors
• Basic design knowledge related to piping and duct sizing
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
• Optional AutoCAD experience
