A university teaching hospital in the UK is seeking a maintenance technician to perform intricate repair, calibration, and installation work on various engineering systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards and completing scheduled maintenance tasks while collaborating with a dedicated team. Competitive salary from £35,730 to £39,210 per annum with opportunities for flexible working.
To perform maintenance, repair and installation work, including activities which are technically intricate and/or non-routine.
Responsible for calibration and fault-finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment (low pressure hot water systems, steam raising plant, Air Handling Units, steam sterilisers and associated equipment).
Undertaking maintenance repairs and minor improvement across the Trust as directed by Management, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures.
To undertake the day to day planned preventive maintenance duties and repairs. Checks and testing of the complete spectrum of services found in a building services environment.
