About The Role

One Aftersales are recruiting for a National Mechanical Account Manager on a full permanent basis in the TPS team. This is a field based role and will report into the National Performance Manager.

What you will be doing
  • You will be responsible for the identification, negotiation and on-going relationship management of the allocated key National Mechanical Accounts to deliver growth in line with TPS turnover and profit plan. These accounts range from National Fast Fit chains to large Volkswagen Group independent specialists.
  • A key element of this role will be seeking out new opportunities in established accounts in direct competition with the independent motor factors in the UK Aftermarket.
  • You are also required to keep abreast of market developments to enable Volkswagen Group to maintain its strong position in the National Account sales channel.
Skills & experience you can bring to the role
  • Track record of consistently managing operational performance and achieving great results.
  • Ability to build, maintain and develop excellent customer relationships.
  • Skilled in stimulating change in businesses (mind-sets and processes) to deliver growth and sustainability ·
  • Comfortable analysing detailed statistical, numerical and financial data.
  • Great communicator who is well organised and able to prioritise.
  • Eager to learn in a fast paced sales environment.
  • A team player who will be able to leverage the skills of the TPS team and wider Volkswagen Group to drive profitable sales growth.
