Overview

Mechanical Fitter

The Company

An industry leading manufacturing company who specialise in the design and manufacture of special purpose machinery.

The Role

To assemble and fit all aspects of manufacturing components to a very high standard used to produce stainless steel special purpose machinery. You must be able to work within a team, either in the main production area or if applicable on a client's site and be aware of all aspects including Health & Safety, Production, Inspection and Discipline.

  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Use of a wide range of hand tools and mechanical equipment
  • Building and fitting bearing houses
  • Working with pneumatics and hydraulics
Qualifications
  1. City & Guilds Qualifications in Engineering would be an advantage or a good engineering background.
