We are seeking a proactive and experienced Mechanical Erection Supervisor to lead nightshift operations on a high-profile infrastructure project. The role involves overseeing the installation of large-scale mechanical systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution in line with engineering specifications and project milestones.
Supervise mechanical erection of turbines, generators, condensers, pumps, and associated systems
Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain productivity and compliance with safety standards
Conduct inspections, walkdowns, and quality checks to verify installation integrity
Manage installation documentation, method statements, and risk assessments
Ensure alignment, tolerances, and mechanical fit-out meet design and operational requirements
Support commissioning readiness and interface with commissioning and QA teams
Enforce permit-to-work systems and maintain strong safety culture during nightshift operations
Provide clear handovers and progress updates to dayshift and project management teams
Proven experience supervising mechanical erection on large industrial or energy projects
Strong understanding of rotating equipment, lifting operations, and mechanical systems
SMSTS, SSSTS or equivalent supervisory certification preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Willingness to work long-term nightshift rotation
Familiarity with nuclear safety culture and quality assurance standards is an advantage
