Job description

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Mechanical Engineer specializing in the design of process skids, modular systems and pressure vessels. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in piping stress analysis and mechanical design, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Our team joins a global leader in emissions control, heat and mass transfer, and clean‑air combustion systems. At ETA Process Plant, we deliver innovative, cost‑effective solutions that help our customers operate cleaner, safer, and more efficiently.

What You Will Do
  • Design process skids, modular systems and pressure vessels including piping and equipment supports.
  • Perform piping stress analysis using CAESAR II to evaluate thermal expansion, flexibility, and load conditions.
  • Be responsible for author, updating and reviewing technical documentation and reports relating to CAESAR II pipe stress analysis.
  • Review/approve mechanical deliverables such as general arrangement and detailed drawings produced by the CAD team.
  • Prepare and review mechanical design documentation and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, CAD designers, fabricators, and project teams to ensure constructability and compliance.
  • Review vendor drawings and material specifications for compliance and quality.
  • Support procurement, fabrication, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure all designs meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support sales activities with mechanical engineering expertise.

  • Knowledge of fabrication, welding standards, and inspection procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliverables and deadlines.
