Responsibilities
- Acts as the leader of the technical content of the assigned customer project(s) and/or workpackage(s) and reports to Technical Senior Engineer responsible for the technical scope of customer projects.
- Ensures customer technical requirements are fulfilled (performance, quality, cost, time) in compliance with the contract and based on the Architecture & Technical specifications defined during the tender phase.
- Leads Customer Project Senior Technicians (DPT3) working in the assigned projects and/or workpackages.
- Follows all technical aspects of customer integrated projects including design, implementation, testing, FAT.
- Collaborates internationally with other functional teams/stakeholders across multiple sites/countries.
- Performs, reviews, leads & approves technical design & specification activities, leveraging Schneider Electric portfolio to maximize profitability and limit technical risks.
- Performs basic and detailed design calculations & engineering.
- Coordinates all technical implementation activities at factories, supplier premises and testing facilities until project closure.
- Contributes to FAT preparation and participates in FATs with suppliers & customers as needed.
- Identifies inputs/outputs/interfaces of the assigned work packages from the rest of the project scope.
- Ensures delivery according to project budget and timeline; provides progress reports and technical deliverables to Technical Senior Engineer or Project Manager.
- Identifies potential changes versus contract or agreed design; works with Technical Senior Engineer to specify changes and impact, including cost evaluation.
- Alerts Project Manager and Technical Senior Engineer of substantial issues that could affect project performance or customer satisfaction.
- Supports compliance with Schneider‑Electric processes (CPP & TDP) and quality, safety, governance principles.
- Leads or corrects Senior Technicians on any technical deviations or quality issues during project execution.
- Maintains and shares technical knowledge, lessons learned, best practices; acts as coach to Senior Technicians and junior Technical Engineers.
- Stays updated on latest technical evolutions and new launches; participates in engineering innovation and productivity initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant engineering area, including power, automation & software, telecom & IT, cyber security, mechanical & HVAC, structural.
- Experience in a specific market segment or customer application/process is a plus.
- English language proficiency level minimum B2/C1; other languages are a plus.
- Strong technical communication skills (written & verbal).
- Ability to work and cooperate in an international & inter‑cultural environment.
- Familiarity with MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
- Flexibility & reliability; focus on technical details & customer orientation; team player.
