Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a multinational leader in engineering. The successful engineer will be required to deliver the very best technical support to our customers. Within the role, the engineer will be required to support with technical inquiries, investigate product claims, testing of products for customers or other subsidiaries, creation of various technical documentation, identify, develop and deliver training, research within the market including trends and competitor activities and providing support for new products in the European market.

Requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering degree 2:1 or higher
  • Ability to plan and manage own projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of writing technical reports and engineering documentation
  • To work as part of a multicultural team who deliver results by consensus.
  • Passport and Driving licenses required, as there will be some UK and European travel in the role.
  • Understanding of MS office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience in design of machined parts
  • Knowledge of CE, UKCA, UL and related standards
  • Basic Electrical Engineering knowledge.
