Expression of Interest – Mechanical Engineer – All Levels – UK Wide, including Northern Ireland

Avove is seeking skilled Mechanical Engineers at all career stages—Engineer, Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer—to join our expanding organisation, recognised for delivering innovative water and wastewater solutions across the United Kingdom. Our design division significantly contributes to high-quality, design-only and design-and-build services for water and wastewater treatment systems, as well as water and sewerage networks, covering both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.

Applicants with experience in mechanical engineering are invited to express their interest in joining our team. Please note that, while we value every expression of interest, contact may not be made with all applicants.

You may be based at any of our offices located in Warrington, Glasgow, Brighouse, Durham, Birmingham, Coventry, Telford, or Newry. Possession of a full driving licence is required for these positions.

Candidate Profile
  • Hold a relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; candidates with appropriate equivalent experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Currently possess or are pursuing professional accreditation (IEng, CEng), which Avove offers full support and sponsorship for.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities (Senior & Principal Level), with the ability to manage multidisciplinary projects and teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with engineering software packages such as AutoCAD.
  • Exhibit strong written, verbal, and organisational skills, capable of producing clear, concise reports.
  • Experienced in team leadership and collaboration, committed to meeting project deadlines.
