Intermediate to Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services / MEP Design

Location: Nottingham - Hybrid & Flexible Working

Salary: £35k - £60k - DOE

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer / Building Services Design / Intermediate Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• As an Intermediate / Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be a vital part of the team and have a high degree of autonomy for your experience level, combined with support as needed.
• Working as part of a larger team on certain projects.
• Attending meetings with clients and other construction professionals.
• Helping generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients.
• Working on a variety of technically challenging and interesting projects across varied sectors.
• Producing drawings and specifications.
• Producing calculations or guiding others to complete them.

Experience & Qualifications

• Ideally a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or HNC / HND with relevant design experience.
• Ideally chartered or working towards.
• Minimum of 2-4 years' experience of design in building services, post qualification completion.
• Experience of design software.
• Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations documents etc.
• An enthusiasm to continue professional development.
