Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in Deeside. This permanent role involves running projects from enquiry to design and requires expertise in 3D SolidWorks. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience with various mechanical components. Competitive salary between 40-45k.

Qualifications

Overview

Role: Mechanical Design Engineer (PERMANENT)   Salary: 40-45k   Location: Deeside   Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Friday

Our client, based in the Deeside area, are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities
  • Run with a project from client enquiry through to final design.
  • Carry out detailed 3D designs of mechanical parts using SolidWorks.
  • Understand basic fabrication processes from a design perspective.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training and experience.
  • 3D CAD modelling and detail drafting experience (ideally SolidWorks).
  • Very experienced in 3D SolidWorks, covering fabrications, rotating parts, sheet metal and welded components/fabrications.
  • Able to carry out detailed 3D designs of mechanical parts using SolidWorks.
  • Be able to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve.
  • Recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
