Are you a recently qualified or experienced mechanic with a passion for hydraulics and the mechanics of livestock containers and trailers? Our client, an award-winning specialist in the design and manufacture of commercial livestock vehicles, is seeking a dedicated Mechanic to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview

As a Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the maintenance and installation of hydraulic and mechanical components in custom-built vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is meticulous, attentive, and eager to take on responsibilities with precision and a strong sense of ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and installation of hydraulic and mechanical components for our bespoke vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with senior mechanics and production teams to implement reliable solutions.
• Take detailed notes, follow instructions diligently, and execute tasks with precision.
• Develop skills in reading technical drawings and hydraulic schematics for accurate assembly.
• Maintain meticulous records of all tasks performed.
• Pipe commercial trailers and repair/assemble new trailers.
• Assemble pulley systems and carry out hydraulic testing.

Training Opportunities
