A leading health services organization in the UK is seeking a motivated individual to navigate patients through their cancer care pathway. The role involves tracking patient progress, coordinating multidisciplinary team meetings, and ensuring timely care. Candidates should have excellent office skills and preferably NHS experience. The Cancer Services department at Frimley Park Hospital is a busy service comprised of Tumour Site Specific Multi-Disciplinary Teams. We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual who will virtually navigate patients through their care pathway from point of referral to treatment in accordance with agreed pathway steps and timescales. The role requires proactively identifying and resolving delays at all stages, with a strong understanding of the two week wait, 28 day, 31 day and 62 day targets. NHS experience is preferred, along with excellent IT, communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision. The successful applicant will coordinate tumour site specific Multi‑Disciplinary Team meetings, track patients against Cancer Waiting Times targets, ensure Minimum Data Sets and Audits are completed, and accurately record relevant data for each patient in line with National Data requirements. The department supports continuous personal development through study days, conferences and training opportunities.
