Wereseeking a driven, flexible, and hardworking Administrator to join our MDTCancer Administration Team. As an MDT Coordinator, youll be at the heart ofour Multidisciplinary Teamsproviding support & recording high-quality,accurate, and timely data that directly supports critical clinicaldecision-making. Youll proactively monitor patients against National CancerWaiting Times Standards, spotting issues early and escalating them to keepservices running smoothly and patients on track.

Youwill be at the centre of our MDTservice, attending weekly MDT meetings that may involve early starts, latefinishes, or lunchtime sessions. In this pivotal role, youll provideend-to-end administrative supportpreparing and circulating patient lists,ensuring all new and referred cancer patients are discussed in line withnational guidance, and collating complete clinical information ahead ofdeadlines.
Youllexpertly coordinate each MDT meeting, making sure notes, imaging, pathology,and all essential documentation are ready and accessible. During meetings,youll accurately record outcomes and actions, update treatment plans in theelectronic patient record, and keep all MDT members informed of any changesto schedules or venues.
Youllcollect and manage data in real time, respond to clinical informationqueries, and maintain precise attendance records for quarterly audits. Beyondday-to-day delivery, youll play an active role in improving MDT processesand contributing to service improvement projects, including data collectionand pathway mapping.
Youllbring experience with patient information systems (EPR, PAS, PPM or similar),a strong understanding of information governance, and excellentcommunication, organisation and attention to detail. Youll also manage asmall admin team, ensuring effective cover and the smooth running of MDTservices, as well as training and HR processes.

TheMDT Co-ordinator will provide a comprehensive administrative service tosupport and cover the Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) and ensure the effectivemanagement of accurate and timely data to enable clinical decision-making atMDT meetings when required.
Thepost-holder will coordinate, proactively manage and track patients againstthe National Cancer Waiting Times Standards.They will escalate problems to CSU management and the Lead Cancer Teamin a timely manner so that remedial action can be taken where necessary toensure the Cancer Waiting Times targets are met.
Whereappropriate the individual may manage a small team of staff, ensuring coverarrangements and support is available for the smooth running of the MDT. The individual will also provide cover tothe MDTs, in the specialities in most need of resources, especially in timesof annual leave, sickness/absence, and during periods of transition betweenappointments.
