Full-time or part-time secondary maths teacher required in North Devon, close to some stunning beaches.

We have an exciting opportunity for a secondary maths teacher to join a collaborative and supportive team within a well-established school in the North Devon area. This position is being advertised as a full-time position starting in September, however, a part-time work pattern would also be considered for the right candidate. This role is suitable for early career teachers and qualified teachers with experience teaching maths within a secondary setting who value innovation and creativity. You will be expected to plan lessons accordingly and manage student behaviour so that effective learning can take place. You will be supported throughout this role and given the opportunity for further employment at the end of the contract if necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in maths or any other related field.
  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary or higher education level. This can include teaching placements.
  • Hold positive values and attitudes and adopt high standards of behaviour in their professional role.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
