Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S66)
Salary: £155 - £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time

Role overview

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and purposeful mathematical instruction to learners with diverse educational needs and aspirations. This is an opportunity to build numeracy confidence, logical reasoning, and real-world application of mathematical skills in a supportive learning environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons across key mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving.
• Differentiate instruction to support students at varying levels of ability and learning styles.
• Foster a positive and resilient attitude toward mathematics through creative and interactive teaching approaches.
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the wider learning culture of the institution.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and independence.

Job Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialism or strong background in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Maths across all Key Stages is essential.
• Ability to engage and inspire students across varying ability levels.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
