A healthcare provider in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a volunteer in Maternity Triage. This role involves welcoming women to triage, completing necessary tests, and supporting patients during their time in the waiting room. Candidates should be proactive and enjoy interacting with people. Mandatory training will be held in March 2026, and prior references are required. This position is ideal for individuals wanting to support a healthcare environment while gaining experience in patient care.

The unit is looking for support across a variety of departments. This role is specifically within Maternity Triage.
This role is best suited to volunteers who are proactive in supporting a large team, enjoy meeting people as well as providing companionship and support during what can be an emotional journey for women. You will need to be able to interact with people from all walks of life and be able to listen to people without judgement.

Please kindly note you will be given a 20‑minute assessment on the week commencing either the 26th January 2026 or 2nd February 2026 at Kingston Hospital.
The mandatory training for this role will be on Tuesday 10th March 2026. Please only apply if you can attend these dates.
