Job summary

A global design and engineering contractor in North Wales is seeking a Material Quality Control Inspector for a long-term contract role. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with quality control standards in materials inspections. Candidates should have over 5 years of materials control experience in the oil & gas sector and relevant educational qualifications. This full-time position is anticipated to last over 12 months, with a start date in January 2026 and a working schedule of up to 5.5 days a week.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in materials control on energy or oil & gas projects.
  • Knowledge of QC for structural/mechanical/civil/electrical equipment.
  • International certifications in quality control preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute inspections on materials and equipment received onsite.
  • Analyse Purchase Orders and Project Specifications.
  • Prepare and manage Inspection Material Reports.
