Description

As a key member of the Logistics team for the portables / fixed business you will be expected to link across functions of Manufacturing Sourcing Suppliers and Couriers to ensure that the lines of communication are open across these functions to enable customer orders to be completed in line with their delivery expectation

Responsibilities
  • Understand and Develop processes and implement control measures around material handling.
  • Primary aspect of the role is preparing raw material for manufacturing and to collect from manufacturing the finished order.
  • Cycle Counting Investigations of material discrepancies.
  • Working with relevant departments; Implement and sustain Material Handling controls.
  • Where discrepancies are present these will need to be identified and escalated via the correct functions to remove the bottle neck.
  • Pack customer orders following any special instructions noted on the paperwork to the correct standard.

  • To move Raw Material and Finished Product safely to the necessary areas
  • Pack customer orders following any special instructions noted on the paperwork to the correct standard.

Other Responsibilities

  • Working with Goods Inwards / Picking Team to enable effective movement of product
  • Provide updates for Tier 1 boards for any issues in the respective areas
