Role Overview

We are seeking dedicatedMatchdayOpsTeam Membersto help deliver a smooth, professionalmatchdayexperience.This role is crucialfor ensuring thatthe venue is ready to welcome spectatorsand staff alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Setup and Pack-Down: Assist with the setupand pack-down of all operational equipment as directed by the Safety and Operations teams. This includesbut not limited tosignage, barriers, radios,anduniforms.
  • Asset Management: Jointlymaintainthe asset management system, ensuring all specified operational equipment is logged, tracked, and stored correctly. Report any losses, damages, or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Operational area maintenance: Keep all operational and staff areas (briefing rooms, welfare spaces, and break areas) clean, tidy, and well-presented throughout the year. Ensure supplies are replenished and waste is managed appropriatelythrough liaising with relevant support.
  • Uniform and equipment coordination: Organise, distribute, and collect uniforms, radios, earpieces, accreditation, and other essential matchday equipment. Maintainaccuraterecords of issue and return.
  • Uniform care and presentation: Wash, dry, and iron uniforms tomaintainconsistent presentation standards and readiness for each event.(Note that some events may requiredry cleaning to be organised)
  • On-the-Day Support: Provide responsive, professional support during liveeventsto resolve uniform, equipment, or logistical issues quickly and effectively. Act as a key liaison point for stewards and supervisorsrequiringreplacements orassistance.
  • Traffic Management Support: Assist with basic traffic management duties to support site readiness, vehicle movement, and egress operations as directed by the Safety or Operations team. (Training provided)
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain clear, professional, andtimelycommunication with the Safety, Operations, and Staffingpoints of contact. Contribute to a positive and cooperative working environment.
  • Post-Match Collation and Reporting: Support the compilation of post-match reports whererequired, including incident summariesfrom relevant supervisors, equipment logs, oranything elserequiredfor review by the OperationsofSafetyteam.
