Overview

The Mead Educational Trust (TMET) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Officer to join our dedicated and forward-thinking central team. An enhanced DBS check with a check of the barred lists is required for all roles working with children. As part of our safer recruitment process and in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025, we will also carry out:

  • Online searches for all shortlisted candidates, to help identify any issues or concerns that are publicly available online
  • Checks on employment history, references, and eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver creative, effective marketing activity that promotes TMET and its family of schools.
  • Maintain and develop the Trusts\' social media channels, websites, newsletters and events, ensuring all communications are engaging, consistent, and aligned with Trust values and brand guidelines.
  • Support wider communications and engagement activity across the Trust, helping to build and maintain a professional, positive public profile for TMET and its schools.
  • Collaborate across teams and with the Head of Marketing and Communications to gather stories, shape content, and edit, design, and distribute engaging newsletters for staff and stakeholders.
  • Produce eye-catching marketing materials for print and digital platforms using Canva; support and coordinate professional photography and filming shoots to ensure high-quality visual content.
  • Assist in delivering Trust-wide annual events, including liaising with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the smooth coordination of goods and services.
