Job summary

Do you have an exceptional ability to turn clinical proof and technical detail into simple, compelling stories?

You can take complex AI capabilities, clinical outcomes, and NHS-specific context - and distil them into messaging that resonates with clinicians, CIOs, and healthcare leaders. You do this across formats: decks, case studies, LinkedIn posts, website copy, and sales collateral.

What Else Would Be Great
  • 5–8 years in B2B tech / SaaS marketing, ideally healthtech or other regulated / public sector environments

  • Experience in a scaling environment (Series A/B style) — you want to build from first principles, not inherit a machine

  • A blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution — comfortable moving from messaging frameworks to posting content and building decks in the same day

  • Confident collaborating with clinical stakeholders, engineers, and commercial teams

  • Data literate enough to set meaningful goals, interpret performance, and adjust approach accordingly

  • Comfortable tracking competitive landscape and feeding insights into positioning

What Does Wild Success Look Like?

After 12–18 months, TORTUS is recognised as the category leader in UK clinical AI. Your messaging framework is being used by the entire commercial team. The content engine you built generates a steady flow of inbound leads. Case studies from NHS trusts are driving credibility in procurement conversations. You've built the marketing ops foundation — and you're now hiring your first direct report as you step into Head of Marketing.

Where Does This Role Take You?

This is explicitly designed to grow into Head of Marketing as TORTUS scales. You'll own the function end-to-end, build a team beneath you, and shape how a category-defining company tells its story. Beyond TORTUS, you'll have built a rare skillset: marketing leadership in regulated healthtech AI — one of the fastest-growing and most consequential sectors in the world.
