The role of Insights Lead sits within the Retail Experiences & Marketing (REM) function of the LEGO Retail organization. LEGO Retail is the owned-and-operated retail arm of the LEGO Group, responsible for both LEGO Brand Retail Stores (LBR) and LEGO.com.
Responsibilities
- Drive marketing insights agenda, being the single point of contact for LEGO Retail Marketing with Global Insights
- Be the lead point of contact for Data Science and MMM teams, collaborating on inputs and outputs, taking a proactive approach to sharing learnings across the organisation with key implication for action owners
- Define Effectiveness agenda and priorities, working with cross functional teams to ensure action and governance
- Deliver measurement frameworks for REM teams and support measurement for key campaigns and strategic priorities, feeding in to post campaign analyses
- Partner with REM teams to drive the Test & Learn/Innovation agenda, providing measurement frameworks and marketing insights to help inform strategy
- Lead bespoke LR Marketing research priorities and projects; The Marketing Planning and Performance team drives marketing strategy within commercial planning process, develop campaign calendar and OKR framework, own the marketing effectiveness agenda, drives in-year optimisation collaborating closely with regional and channel teams and set investment levels, month end process and governance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing insights or effectiveness roles.
- Strong understanding of MMM, MTA, Experimentation, incrementality testing, with experience of interpreting results into marketing planning actions.
- Strong presentation skills with ability to simplify complex data into understandable, actionable recommendations.
- Able to manage multiple workstreams and work independently.
- Experienced in research design eg. Working with partners on questionnaires.
