Marketing Executive

Jarrolds is seeking a creative and digitally savvy marketing executive to join our in‑house team. With a strong focus on social media and content, this role will help bring the Jarrolds brand to life online and in‑store through engaging storytelling and campaign support.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for content creation, particularly short‑form video and social media, alongside strong writing skills and the ability to support a variety of marketing campaigns.

The Marketing Executive will report directly to the Head of Marketing, working closely with the wider Brand, Studio, Digital and CRM teams.

Content Creation (Social, Video & Digital)
  • Create engaging video content for use across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts), including filming, editing and publishing.
  • Support the development and delivery of the content calendar, aligned with brand campaigns and product focuses.
  • Capture and edit behind‑the‑scenes content, in‑store moments, interviews and brand storytelling pieces.
  • Collaborate with the studio team to brief and support asset creation.
  • Proactively spot content opportunities within the business and recommend how to bring them to life across channels.
Campaign & Marketing Support
  • Assist in delivering seasonal campaigns and in‑store promotions, including developing supporting content across digital touchpoints.
  • Liaise with store departments, suppliers and external partners to gather content and campaign information.
  • Support influencer outreach, community engagement and brand partnership activity.
  • Contribute to planning meetings with ideas and inspiration drawn from social trends and competitor activity.
Email & Digital Marketing
  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of CRM campaigns across email and other direct marketing channels.
  • Support the execution of automated customer journeys and lifecycle flows.
  • Monitor campaign performance, compiling reports and insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed on CRM best practices and contribute ideas for enhancing personalisation and engagement.
General
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, emerging formats and platform updates.
  • Support live coverage of events and product launches across Jarrolds platforms.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the marketing team during peak trading periods and across brand initiatives.
Candidates
  • Experience creating social‑first video content (e.g. Reels, TikTok, Instagram Stories) and confidence using editing tools.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across formats.
  • An understanding of what makes content work across different digital platforms.
  • Creative, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A good eye for design and visual consistency across content.
  • Organised and collaborative, with a positive, can‑do approach.
  • Agency or relevant in‑house experience is desirable.
