The Albion Hotel – Freshwater Bay, Isle of Wight

The Albion Hotel, an iconic seafront destination overlooking Freshwater Bay, is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing & Events Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become the brand ambassador for one of the Isle of Wight’s best-loved hotels, ensuring that everything we do reflects our unique style, heritage, and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as brand ambassador, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and guest experiences.
  • Develop and deliver engaging marketing communications, including digital campaigns, press releases, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence, creating engaging content that reflects the Albion’s character and reaches a wider audience.
  • Plan, promote, and deliver events that attract both hotel guests and the local community, from live entertainment evenings to seasonal celebrations.
  • Build strong partnerships with local businesses, tourism bodies, press, and influencers, to enhance visibility and drive customer engagement.
  • Oversee advertising campaigns to ensure strong ROI and alignment with our strategic goals.
About You
  • Proven experience in marketing, events, or hospitality roles, with a flair for creativity and a strong eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in representing the Albion brand.
  • Strong digital and social media skills, with a good understanding of analytics and audience engagement.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • A passion for hospitality, customer service, and creating memorable experiences.
