Job summary

A leading care provider in Edinburgh is seeking a Marketing Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves creating content for social media and assisting with marketing campaigns. Your Role

Working on a 12-month, fixed-term contract to support our existing team, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering Pebbles' marketing and communications strategies across internal and external platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Help create and manage content for social media platforms.
  • Create and distribute information for the website, news articles and other marketing materials.
  • Promote internal news.
  • Support the Marketing Manager to design, deliver and monitor marketing campaigns.
  • Help with planning and development of the company and external events.
  • Design assets for social media, internal projects and branded merchandise.
  • Building and nurturing relationships between the marketing team and the wider business.
  • Monitoring and analysing reporting performance metrics and preparing reports.
  • Coordinating with external vendors, designers, and agencies as needed.
  • Additionally, you may be required to take on other tasks and responsibilities as needed. These tasks may evolve based on the company's needs and your skill set. Flexibility and adaptability are key components of this position.

  • A salary of £27,450.00 per annum.
  • Your working hours will be 40 hours per week, with flexibility in your working pattern.

Desirable Qualities include:

  • Previous experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • Studying and working towards a degree in marketing, business, or a related field, with marketing qualifications or certifications.
  • Knowledge and experience of residential child care.
  • Basic knowledge of design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva).
