Marketing Assistant (Part-Time, Hybrid)

Location: Broxbourne, EN10 (Hybrid – office attendance 1 day per fortnight)

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 pro rata

Job Type: Permanent | Part-Time (3 days per week)

Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm

The Role

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our digital and general marketing activity across PPC, SEO, website management, social media, content creation and analytics.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this is a hands-on, varied role ideal for a marketing professional looking to develop their skills in a supportive, mission-driven organisation.

Hybrid working with office attendance one day every fortnight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimise PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, paid social)
  • Conduct keyword research, write ad copy and manage budgets
  • Optimise on-page and off-page SEO
  • Maintain and update website content using WordPress or similar CMS
  • Assist with landing pages, website updates and marketing content
  • Plan, create and schedule social media content (paid and organic)
  • Monitor engagement and respond to messages and comments
  • Track performance using Google Analytics, Search Console and ad platforms
  • Prepare reports with insights and recommendations
  • Support email marketing campaigns and service launches
  • Coordinate marketing activity with internal teams and external partners
Skills & Experience
  • 1–3 years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices
  • Experience using a CMS (e.g. WordPress)
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised, creative and detail-oriented
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Ability to commute to Broxbourne (EN10) when required
  • Right to work in the UK
