A prominent law firm in the UK seeks a Marketing and Proposal Executive to enhance their marketing efforts specifically within the energy and transition sectors. This role requires proven experience in leading proposals and pitches, alongside a strong understanding of energy markets. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills as they drive business development strategies aligned with the firm’s goals in a hybrid working environment.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Proposal Executive to join our growing Marketing team.
Our global BD, marketing, and communications teams drive the firm's business objectives by supporting partners and associates in building trusted client relationships, winning new work, and positioning the firm as a leading global law firm. The function operates as one team worldwide, combining central groups (e.g., Communications, Events) with embedded BD professionals supporting offices, practice groups, sectors, and clients. This role supports the global Energy, Natural Resources & Infrastructure (ENRI) practice, primarily focusing on energy and energy transition, while assisting with broader practice initiatives.
In this role, you will focus on the implementation of the BD strategy across the energy subsectors, including emerging energy transition technologies such as green fuels, carbon capture & storage and the battery mineral value chain. The role will involve supporting the development and growth of the practice by working collaboratively across borders on sector-driven BD activities (focusing on pitches), campaigns and initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors looking for a targeted role that spans one of A&O Shearman's core products and five of its priority sector groups.
