Job description

Vanrath is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organisation with a significant footprint across the UK & Ireland to appoint a Marketing & Communications Executive for their Dungannon operation. This is a flexible role offering between 20-35 hours per week, with a market-leading salary and benefits package.

This is a standalone role on site, offering the opportunity to shape how the business is positioned externally while also owning internal communications and employer branding activity. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening market presence, supporting recruitment initiatives, and enhancing employee engagement across the site.

The Role

Reporting into senior site leadership and working closely with commercial and people teams, this position will take ownership of all marketing and communication activity at local level, aligning with wider group strategy while tailoring content and campaigns to the needs of the site.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & External Communications
  • Plan and deliver targeted marketing initiatives to raise awareness of the site's capabilities, expertise, and values
  • Produce engaging content for online channels including website updates, social platforms, and digital campaigns
  • Liaise with central/group marketing teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and wider campaigns
  • Develop relationships with external partners such as media, industry networks, and local stakeholders
Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing
  • Work alongside HR to promote the organisation as an employer of choice within the local market
  • Create and manage recruitment-focused content including social media posts, visual assets, videos, and careers material
  • Support job fairs, open days, and outreach initiatives
  • Contribute to onboarding communications to ensure a strong and consistent new starter experience
Internal Communications & Engagement
  • Own internal communication channels such as newsletters, intranet content, and on-site digital displays
  • Support leadership teams with clear, engaging messaging aligned to site and business objectives
  • Coordinate internal campaigns, events, and initiatives that reinforce culture, values, and engagement
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor engagement, reach, and campaign effectiveness using relevant metrics
  • Provide insight and recommendations to improve future communication and marketing activity
Candidate Profile
Essential
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrable experience in a marketing, communications, or brand-focused role
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
Desirable
  • Background within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment
  • Experience supporting employer branding or recruitment campaigns
  • Exposure to digital marketing platforms, analytics, or content management systems
