Oxford Nanopore Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Market Segment Manager for Complex Disease to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will define and lead the global strategic marketing plan for the complex disease segment, driving growth by increasing the adoption of Oxford Nanopore’s sequencing solutions among human genetics researchers worldwide. This role involves crafting our positioning across the genomic continuum-from genetic epidemiology and risk prediction in large cohorts to clinical research applications for monogenic and familial disease forms.
This role involves owning segment strategy development, commercial enablement, market activation, and go-to-market planning, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term growth priorities. This individual will partner closely with sales teams to deliver commercial activation programs, develop training and enablement tools, and create high-impact marketing assets that support customer engagement and deal progression. Other responsibilities include developing key customer relationships, and guiding initiatives that transform the complex disease segment into a major value driver for the company. The ideal candidate combines deep scientific expertise with proven marketing leadership and a strong researcher network in at least one domain: genetics of neurodegenerative diseases, psychiatric genetics, or cardiovascular genetics.
